The School of Engineering, Science and Technology was established in 2017 to provide education and training services in the fields relating to modern communication and information skills at the National and Higher National Diploma levels.

DEAN of Engineering, Science and Technology
Dr. Hamisu Adamu hailed from Zangon Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria. He holds Ph.D. In organic Chemistry from Bayero University, Kano. He is a seasoned academician of good standing with over twenty-two years of teaching experience in the Tertiary Institution and published widely in reputable journals as well as participated in numerous scientific conferences and workshops. He rose to the rank of Chief Lecturer at the Kaduna Polytechnic. He has a vast array of administrative leadership, namely: Member of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Daura, Katsina State; Chairman of Policy and Transparency Unit (PTU); Chairman of Student Affairs Committee; Member of Monitoring and Evaluation Committee; External examiner Kano state Polytechnic; Asst. Exams officer SPRS; Kaduna. Polytechnic; Asst. Coordinator (Student Excursion); Member Security Committee (App. Sci. Dept.); JAMB Supervision. He is a Member Chemical Society of Nigeria;(CSN). Member Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria (ICCON); Member American Society of Microbiology (ASM). Dr. Hamisu is currently the Dean School of Eng., Sci. & Tech.(SEST) Federal Polytechnic Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria. Dr. Hamisu is happily married and blessed with children.
